Bold Money Matters — Pastoral Financial Literacy & Debt Relief
537 Clergy Trained | 176,946 Min. of Instruction | 47 On-Demand Modules | $427,836 in Debt Relief
A national financial literacy and debt relief initiative has equipped 537 clergy with the tools, knowledge, and direct support needed to sustain both their households and their ministries — because a financially stable pastor leads a financially stable congregation.
Delivered as a virtual 8-week curriculum, the program covers budgeting, banking, credit, income diversification, insurance, homeownership, retirement preparation, and grant-making — with 47 on-demand video modules available beyond the core series. Since 2023, 537 clergy participants have completed over 176,946 minutes of instruction. Pastors who complete the full curriculum may apply for debt relief grants addressing foreclosure prevention, medical debt, student loans, tuition, and counseling costs — with 86 grants awarded totaling $427,836 to date.
This initiative demonstrates how faith networks can deliver scalable financial wellness infrastructure to pastoral leaders — closing a persistent gap between ministry calling and economic stability, and strengthening the foundation from which all community impact flows.
A stable pastor. A stronger church. A more resilient community.
