Trinity Temple — Community Masterplan Development
COGIC | 38+ Acres | 189 Residential Units | $68MM+ Investment
A $68 million, 38-acre faith-anchored masterplan is transforming a COGIC congregation's campus into a comprehensive community development hub — delivering housing, health, education, and recreation infrastructure in a single, integrated vision.
Led by Bishop Benjamin Stephens III and developed in partnership with J29:7 Planning + Development Corp, the Trinity Temple Masterplan delivers 189 total residential units — including 94 apartments, 65 townhomes, and 30 dedicated senior housing units — alongside a 19,000 sq. ft. Recreation and Community Center with a full gymnasium, and an 8,000 sq. ft. Health Clinic. The plan also designates space for STEM education, recreation fields, community gardens, and open greenspace.
This project demonstrates how a congregation with significant land holdings can become the anchor institution for an entire community's infrastructure — delivering health, housing, and opportunity from a single site of faith.
From four walls to forty acres of impact.
